Here's her web site. Unfortunately she's completely focused on reading instruction. That's another obstacle in the U.S., I think; so many of our best people, at the elementary ed level, are interested in reading. (Remember the Stevenson & Stigler finding that a majority of Asian elementary ed teachers said math was their favorite subject to teach?) [UPDATE 12-4-06: wrong again. Reading comprehension in the U.S. is a mess. Not being able to read is a far worse handicap than not being able to do math.]
