Even I can't keep up, and I'm writing the stuff.

(Fortunately I've read most of the articles I've posted & linked to...)

We definitely need the index-slash-contents-guide, though.

ktm is a conversation, as forums & blogs are conversations, but it's also ... hmm. What is the word?

I know!

It's an office.

Great idea! And thanks for doing the index. I've noticed that over time, KTM is accelerating in how much content is posted -- it makes sense that as users start pages and you get more users it'll snowball. I've been wondering how I'll ever read it all!

It reminds me of seeing the web for the first time in 1992, and thinking that it'd be annoying, because you'd never know when you read everything about a topic (I'm a little compulsive about information). I've gotten over it.

Kitchen Table Math is a blooki

blooki: part book, part bliki

I was thinking this weekend that I don't believe I've come across a site like Kitchen Table Math.

A bliki is already a hybrid, a blog laminated onto a wiki.

But KTM is book-like, too.

It's a book in 'real-time.'

Or something.

Anyway, in recognition of the blooki aspect of KTM, I've started compiling a KTM index.

The index will always be a work-in-progress, because KTM will always be a book-in-progress. It's never going to be exhaustive.

So I'm thinking people (including me) will use the KTM index differently from the way we use a normal index.

I'm going to use the KTM index to jog my memory.

What topics have we ('we' including ktm readers, users, & commenters) written about?

If I want to see everything anyone has written about a topic, I'll use the search along with the index.

Basically, the ktm index will act as a combination index & table of contents.
