TestOfBlikiFeatures

This is a first test of a new page protection system for KTM... hopefully this will stop the problems people are having with not being able to edit the web pages that they create.

Your inexperienced webmaster is very sorry for any inconvenience anyone is experiencing. :)

Boo, I can't edit the page I want to edit. So....

Please add the following to FrequentlyAskedQuestions, since I just figured it out this morning, using my level 42 Google master skills:

Under the How do I log in? answer paragraph, add a new question (in bold) and its answer.

The new question is: "How do I log out?"

The answer is as follows (between the --- and ---):

So, you were logged in as KtmGuest?, but you've just registered as a user, and now you want to log out so you can log in as your new user name. But wait, there's no "log out" button!

Maybe you can't log out; it depends on which browser you're using. You may have to exit your browser and launch it again.

Technical details are at HowToLogOff and FAQ about HTTP authentication.

However, if you're using Opera 8.50 or higher, you can log out from HTTP-authenticated pages like the ones on this Twiki as follows:

  1. From the menu, select Tools > Delete private data and click the Advanced tab.
  2. Turn off all checkboxes except Delete password protected pages and data. Make sure that one is on.
  3. Click Delete.

Now, the next time you go to add a comment, you will be presented with the "log in" dialog box again.

In the links at the top, add a new question under "How do I log in?". This question is "How do I log out?". This should link to an anchor placed at the new question and answer that were just inserted.

PEOPLE ARE HAVING TROUBLE EDITING THEIR OWN PAGES????

FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE

No, I was trying to edit the FAQ page, but don't have sufficient access, being a lowly gnome and not a Twiki-goddess.

GoogleMaster, thanks for the input -- I will add it to the FAQ page!

Catherine, don't worry, people can edit their own pages (look at the date on the original post -- it was June 18th)...

Some sentence.

  1. Number one, numbered 1.
  2. Number two, numbered 2.
  3. Number three, numbered 3.
  4. Number four, numbered 4.

Another sentence.

  1. Number one, numbered 1.
  2. Number two, numbered 1.
  3. Number three, numbered 1.
  4. Number four, numbered 1.

Conclusion: It doesn't matter whether you number with 1,2,3,4 or 1,1,1,1; but you can't put a blank line between them.
