Topics within the Kitchen web are organized by TopicType and SubjectArea. This page provides tools for managing TopicTypes, including:

TopicType Table for use in WebForm

This table is used to classify a topic in TWiki.Kitchen using the drop-down menu in WebForm.

Name down Type Tooltip message
SideNote option For reference and link pages
SubjectArea option Use if defining a new thread category
TopicType option Use if defining a new topic type
WebLog option For weblog entries

Create a New TopicType

ALERT! This should only be done by a member of WebModeratorGroup?.

To create a new TopicType:

  1. Create a new TopicType topic using the form below.
    • The newly created TopicType topic will include a search displaying all topics within that TopicType.
    • From the newly created TopicType topic you can also create a topic template for all new topics created from that page.
  2. In order to include your new TopicType within the list shown above that is displayed as a pop-up menu in WebForm, you must return to this topic and manually add it to the form above.
